英國小學是滿4歲後的9月初開學, 入讀Reception Class．
通常，每年1月15日前便要申請入學, 可以選多少間學校, 每間學校的收生條件可能有點不一樣, 請看Council 網頁的申請入學指南

申請小學, 可以分入申請Primay School / Infant School / Junior School
即申請2021年入讀Reception Class, 或Junior School 的Year 3
申請2021年入讀Reception Class 的, 出世日子應該介乎 2016年9月1日至2017年8月31日
申請2021年入讀Year 3 的, 出世日子應介乎 2013年9月1至2014年8月31日. 留意, 基本上只有Junior School 會接受year 3 申請
在1月15日申請後, 會在4月16日公佈 (National Offer day)

若打算用BNO VISA 移民的話, 小朋友又剛好明年要入讀Reception class / year 3, 便要特別留意申請學校的日子了。
小朋友若到英國時是低年級, 又希望轉間更好的小學, 也可以考慮在Year 3 時轉校, 當然, 入唔入到, 好大程度都係靠地址, 不過, 跟地址派位, 點都易過插班
