- 桶：桶越大越好, 給蟹仔多一點空間
- 魚線：本質上，魚線由一根繩子或釣魚線、誘餌和足以將誘餌保持在岸底的重物組成。 通常釣蟹仔熱門地方附近都可以輕易買到
- 網：幫你把蟹從水里拿出來
- 蟹餌：蟹出了名的貪吃，而且嗅覺超強，所以餌料越臭越好。 最受歡迎的是豬肝煙肉、沙丁魚、魷魚和魚頭, 當地小店或各超巿也有售
釣蟹技巧
- 找到一個合適的位置並將魚線放入水中。 確保您的誘餌到達底部並儘量避免出現任何海藻簇。
- 將釣線鬆鬆地握在手中，等待（一定要耐心！），直到感覺到螃蟹正在塞進“華麗”的誘餌中。
- 當你100%確定蟹已經牢牢抓住並且正在享受一頓盛宴時，緩慢而穩定地將隊列拉起來。 抓蟹的這一部分是一門藝術，熟能生巧； 試著慢慢地拉繩子，這樣蟹甚至沒有意識，但不要太慢，以免蟹吃掉所有的餌並跳下來。
- 確保你的網在手邊，在將蟹從水中提起之前將其放在蟹下方。 如果您打算在等待更多螃蟹的同時保留蟹，請將蟹放入桶中。 將水桶裝滿一半的海水，並在裡面放一點海藻，為螃蟹提供遮蔭。 嘗試每小時換一次水，並將水桶放在陰涼的地方，注意空間不要太擁擠。

選擇生態捕蟹套裝，盡量減少對環境的影響。 現在很多地方都出售木製蟹線和竹網作為塑料的替代品。 保留設備，這樣您就可以在下一次重複使用它們。
撿起蟹的最佳方法是輕輕握住蟹殼的兩側，或者用一根手指放在蟹殼頂部、一根手指放在蟹殼下方，從背面將其撿起。 確保始終避免握住蟹爪！
